As a natural musician, I express an instinctive ability in improvisation and playing by ear. This has lead me to be much in demand for "finding the chords" by song writers and accompanying singers and other musicians. I have a gift to tune into a melody and learn quickly without recourse to written music.
Struggling with dyslexia and a demoralising conventional training in piano and church organ as a child, I taught myself to play guitar in my early teens and have been writing and performing my own compositions ever since. My oldest song here dates back to 1971. I also play penny whistle and have been greatly enjoying playing acoustic bass in recent events.
Now with many years of musical inspiration and nearly twenty years of devotional musicianship, I believe I have a wealth of valuable experience to share with groups, organisations and individuals interested in enjoying a spiritually uplifting yet grounded musical experience.
